Fall Out Boy and their Tours!

 Fall Out Boy Concerts/Tours! ~

As Fall Out Boy began to rise in popularity, the next step for the band was to branch out and play at their very first concerts, as well as host their own tours! During their earlier years before the tragic split in 2009, they had headlined at a total of 6 tours! (quite impressive, if you ask me). This post will only go into a few of these tours, however links to all my sources will be posted at the bottom, so if you're interested feel free to read more!!

A chronological list of their Headlining and Co-headlining tours can be found below! ~

Headlining tours:
    - Nintendo Fusion Tour (2005)
    - Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour (2006)
    - Friends or Enemies Tour (2007)
    - Young Wild Things Tour (2007)
    - Believers Never Die Part Deux (2009)
    - The Boys of Zummer Tour (2015)
    - Wintour is Coming (2016)
    - Mania Tour (2017-18)
    - So Much For (Tour) Dust (2023)
    - So Much For (2our) Dust (2024)
Co-Headlining tours:
    - Save Rock and Roll Tour (2013)
    - Monumentour (2014)
    - Hella Mega Tour (2021-22)

One of their earliest (and first!!) tours included the "Nintendo Fusion Tour", an annual concert tour sponsored by Nintendo from September 28th until November 23, 2005. Fall Out Boy were able to headline for the concerts in support of their second album "From under the Cork Tree" alongside other bands like Panic! at the disco,  Boys Night Out and Motion City Soundtrack. Some of the setlist includes songs like "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner", "I Slept with Someone in Fall Out Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me" (long name, I know), as well as their top hits from the album "Dance, Dance" and "Sugar, We're Goin Down".

Their next most notable tour was the "Friends or Enemies Tour", hosted in support of their third (and probably most popular) album, "Infinity of High" in San Fransisco, 2007. The tour included opening acts like Permanent Me, New Found Glory and The Early November. Some of the songs included in the setlist includes hits like "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race", and "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me" (one of my favourite FOB songs, if you're curious!).

In contrast with these older tours, their most recent tour "So Much For (2our) Dust" was a headlining concert tour by Fall Out Boy in support of their eighth album "So Much for Stardust", with opening acts including Jimmy Eat World, Games We Play and Hot Mulligan. (I wish I had gone to this tour, as I would've loved to see Jimmy Eat World live too!!) The tour began February 2024 in Portland, Oregon, and concluded during April 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This tour had over 20 songs within their setlist (wow!!) including top hits like "Thnks fr th Mmrs", "Uma Thurman", and one of their newest songs, "Love from the Other Side".

I hope everyone who read enjoyed learning about Fall Out Boy as much as I did when researching them, and I hope it intrigues you enough to go ahead and listen to some of these albums (I promise you won't regret it!). Let me know what your favourite Fall Out Boy song is so far in the comments below, and stay tuned for my next blog post.<3
